Question 595) - Someone entered into Ihram of 'Umah during Shawwal or Zul Qa'dah. He completed the rites of 'Umrah. He went home and returned for Hajj. What is the status of his Tamattu'?

A: His Tamattu' is void in this scenario if he is not bringing a Hady. He will not give Damm of Tamattu'. This is because Tamttu' is the joining of Hajj and 'Unmah in a single journey. By going home in between it is no longer in a single journey.
