Question 1092) - After the sale, the seller reduced the price or the buyer offered more. Both parties were pleased with this. Which price must the Shafi' pay?
A: If the seller reduced part of the price, then the Shafi' pays the reduced price. If he reduced the entire price, then it is not reduced for the Shafi' and is deemed a separate transaction. If the buyer offered more, then the Shafi' is not liable for the extra amount.
