Having wudhu is Necessary to Attain the rewards of Waiting for Salaah

Q: Salaah-711: A Hadith states that one will perpetually receive the rewards of performing salaah as long as one is waiting for salaah to commence. is wudhu a condition for this or will a person attain this reward without wudhu as well?

Answer: Yes, wudhu is a requirement for attaining the reward. Hadhrat Salaah Wali'ullaah Muhaddith Dehlawi RAH. states that the rewards are lost when the wudhu is lost because a person will then not be ready for salaah.
