Sand on the Forehead when Performing Sajdah

Q: Salaah-736: Can the sand adhering to the forehead when performing Sajdah be wiped off? Someone had mentioned that it should not be wiped off because it is blessed. What is the ruling concerning this?

Answer: It is Makrooh to wipe the sand off when in Sajdah, but there is no harm in doing so after he salaah. In fact, it is better to wipe it off so as to guard against ostentation. And Allaah knows best what is most correct.
