Giving zakaah to One's Step Mother

Question: Can one give zakaah to one's father's wife?

Answer: Neither is a step mother amongst one's ascendants or descendants. She is also not amongst one's relatives by marriage. She may therefore be given zakaah if she is worthy of receiving it.
