Selling Newspapers with Pictures in them

Q: Prohibitions and Permissions-6: Newspapers and magazines today have pictures of people in them. What is the ruling concerning looking at them, buying and selling them?

Answer: The person who reads them for the subject matter and who only happens to see the pictures will most likely be forgiven. However, the person whose intent is to see the pictures will be taken to task especially when they are of women, who may be nude or semi-nude. And Allaah knows best what is most correct.
