Selling Nail Polish

Q: Prohibitions and Permissions-13: What is the ruling concerning using and selling nail polish?

Answer: It is not permissible to use nail polish that does not allow water to penetrate the nails because wudhu and Ghusl would be invalid with this. It should not be sold because selling it will lend assistance to sin and the Qur'aan clearly states. "Do not assist in sin and disobedience. And Allaah knows best what is most correct.
