Can a Muraahiq Perform Hajj Badal?

Q: Hajj-15: Is it permissible for a child close to puberty (Muraahiq to perform Hajj Badal? Is puberty a condition?

Answer: If a Muraahiq is understanding and well aware of the regulations Hajj, he may perform the Hajj Badal. However, because some Ulema disagree with this, it is best to get someone who is of age.
