If the Person to Perform the Hajj Badal Falls ill

Q: Hajj -20: If a person who has to perform the Hajj Badal falls ill, can he appoint someone else to take his place?

Answer: He may do so with the permission of the person who has instructed him to perform the Hajj Badal. It is therefore best for the person giving the instruction to permit the person performing the Hajj Badal (before leaving) to do as he sees fit.
