Assalamu 'alaykum wa Rahmatullahi Wabarakatuh

If $5775 is equal to or more than the amount of nisab (which is 612.35 grams if silver or it’s amount) and she had the ornaments in her possession for the duration of one Islamic year or more, then she will have to pay 2.5 per cent of $5775 plus any other belonging which is above and more than basic necessities of life.
