For the People of the First Row to stand Alongside the Imaam

Q: Salaah-254: When the Tablighi Jamaa'ah comes to our Masjid, the first Row is brought toward and the followers stand only a little behind the Imaam. Since the followers standing immediately behind the Imaam have no space to perform Sajdah, the area immediately behind him is left vacant. Is this not improper?

Answer: When there is only one follower, he would stand alongside the Imaam. (slightly behind) and if there are two followers, it would be Makrooh Tanzeehi for them to stand alongside him. However, if there are more than Two followrs, it would be Makrooh Tahreemi for them to stand alongside Him.
