Omitting the Alif in (IYYA KANAST?EEN)

Q: Salaah-66: Will salaah be valid if a person omitted the Alif in Surah Faatiha by reciting (YA?KANAST?EEN) instead of (IYYA KANAST?EEN)?

Answer: Although salaah will be valid by reciting in this manner, the recitation is incorrect and an effort must be made to correct it. And Allaah knows best what is most correct.
