For an Imaam to Perform the Sunnah and Nafl salaahs in the Same Place

Q: Salaah-634: What is the ruling concerning an Imaam performing the Sunnah and Nafl salaahs in the same place as the Fardh salaah?

Answer: It is best for the Imaam to move from his place to perform the Sunnah and Nafl salaahs. Fuqahaa have stated that it is Makrooh for him to perform them in the same place. However, if there is no other place, he will be forced to perform them in the same place as the Fardh salaah. And Allaah knows best what is most correct.
