For An Imaam to stand in the Mihraab

Q: Salaah-676: is it wrong for the Imaam of a Masjid to stand inside the Mihraab?

Answer: It is Makrooh for the Imaam to stand with both his feet inside the Mihraab. It is however not Makrooh if his feet are outside the Mihraab. If he is forced to stand inside the Mihraab because of large crowds, it will not be Makrooh. And Allaah knows best what is most correct.
