Performing salaah Behind a Person who Practises Contraception

Q: Salaah-380: Is it Makrooh to perform salaah behind a person who has himself castrated as a method of contraception?

Answer: It is not permissible to appoint a castrated person as an Imaam. Salaah performed behind such a person will be Makrooh. Employing such people (in any field) will serve to encourage their forbidden act. Castration is forbidden because it falls within the ambit of mutilation. And Allaah knows best what is most correct.
