Can a Person have More then One Watn Asli

Q: Salaah-496: Although my watn Asli (place of permanent residence) is Rander. I have since taken up residence in Bombay. I am now staying in Hyderabad for business reasons. Will I now need to preform Qasr or not then I stay over in Bombay, for a few days? Furthermore, the Watn Asli of my family is also Rander. but they are here with me in Hydrabad, they need to perform Qasr in Rander'? Can a person have two Asli's?

Answer: If you have left Rander completely and have decided to live permanently in Hyderabad. Rander will cease to be your watn Asli. You will therefore have to perform Qasr salaah when you visit Rander as a guest if you aye not staying there for fifteen or more days. the same applied to Bombay.

However, if your wish to retain Rander as your Watn Asli and wish to live permanently in either Hyderabad or Bombay, both places (Rander- and Bombay or Rander and Hyderabad) may be your Watn Asli. A person may have more than one Watn Asli. If you do not wish to make Hyderabad or Bombay your Watn Asli and also do not wish to sever ties with Rander, then Rander will remain your Watn Asli and both Hyderabad and Bombay will be your Watn Iqaamah if you are staying for fifteen or more days there. The same applies to you will apply to your family. And AIIaah knows best what is most correct.
