Sitting with one Leg across the other during the Jumu'ah Khutbah

Q: Salaah-158: During the Jumu'ah Khutbah or at the time of any other salaah, is it permissible to sit with one leg across the other like high-ranking people do?

Answer: Sitting in this manner is a sign of pride and may be done only' when necessary. It is therefore inappropriate to sit in this manner in the Masjid, especially during the Jumu'ah Khutbah. And Allaah knows best what is most correct.
