Is it better to Listen to the Lecture or Recite Qur'aan?

Q: Salaah-271: Is it better to listen to the lecture before the jumu'ah Khutbah or better to recite Qur'aan?

Answer: For the person who is not conversant with the Tafseer of the Qur?aan and its meaning, it is better to listen to the lecture and to become knowledgeable to the injunctions of the Deen. The Qur'aan may even be recited later (or earlier). And Allaah knows best what is most correct.
