If an Imaam of a Small Village is Compelled to lead the Jumu'ah salaah

Q: Salaah-619: I am the Imaam of our little village. What am I to do now that people are insisting that I lead them in the Jumu'ah salaah? If I am forced to do so, should I make the intention of the Jumu'ah salaah or Nafl salaah?

Answer: If your village is so small that the requirements for performing the Jumu'ah salaah are not found, the Jumu'ah salaah cannot be performed there, The Zuhr salaah should then be performed in Jamaa'ah. This needs to be explained o the people and even if they force you to do so you may not perform the Jumu'ah salaah; neither with the intention of Jumu'ah salaah nor with the intention of Nafl. And Allaah knows best what is most correct.
