Should the Janaazah salash be Performed for a Person who Commits Suicide?

Q: Janaa'iz-14: Is it permissible to perform the Janaazah salaah for a Muslim who commits suicide?

Answer: Although committing suicide is a very grave sin in the Shari'ah. The Shari'ah has permitted performing the janaazah salaah for such a person. Some prominent people abstain from participating in the Janaazah salaah of such people as a warning to others While this is permissible. the permissible has to perform the Janaazah salaah and cannot bury the person without doing so. A Hadith states that it is incumbent for people to perform the Janaazah salaah of a Muslim regardless of whether the person was good or bad, and Allaah knows best what is most correct.
