Question 464) - What is the benefit of paying Sadaqatul Fitr?
A: Abu Dawud narrates that 'Abdullaah bin 'Abbas RADI. said, Rasulull (S.A.W) made Sadaqatul Fitr compulsory as a purification of the fast from any wasted time or obscenities and as a means of feeding the poor."
