For a Person in I'tikaaf to Fondle his wife

Q: It'kaaf-24: A man sitting in I'tikaaf was visited by his wife and he kissed and hugged her. Will there be any deficiency in his I'tikaaf?

Answer: It is not permissible for a person in I'tikaaf to do anything that may lead to intercourse. Although such acts will not nullify the I'tikaaf, the I'tikaaf will be nullified if ejaculation takes place. And Allaah knows best what is most correct.
