Can a Couple Perform Hajj when their Children are of Marriageable Age?
Q: Hajj-25: A boy and girl are of marriageable age and people are saying that Hajj is not Fardh on the parents until they get their children married. Is this correct?
Answer: Regardless of whether the children are of marriageable age or not, when Hajj becomes Fardh for a couple, they need to perform the Hajj without delay, failing which they will be sinful. The notion that Hajj will not become Fardh if the children are of marriageable age is a fallacy. And Allaah knows best what is most correct.
