Feeding Haraam Meat to a Cat

Q: Prohibitions and Permissions-21: Haraam canned beef is available here, which people buy to feed to their cats. Is this permissible?

Answer: Carrion and Haraam meat is classified as impure and it is not permissible to use it in any way or to trade in it. Feeding it to one's cats is therefore not permissible either. And Allaah knows best what is most correct.
