Iqaamah for the Person Performing salaah Individually

Q: Salaah-224: Must a person performing salaah individually at home call out the lqaamah?

Answer: Although the lqaamah of the local Masjid suffices for the person performing salaah individually at home, it is best for him to call out the Iqaamah. It is however Makrooh for a woman to call out the Iqaamah. And Allaah knows best what is most correct.
