Question 174) - How many Nafl Rak'at should be prayed with a single Salam?

A: In the day one may pray two or four Rak'at of Nafl with single Salam. More than that will be Makruh. At night one may pray-up to 8 Rak'at with a single Salam according to Imaam Abu Hanifa A. According to Imaam Abu Yusuf RA the limit at night is twos.
