When the Salaah or Khutbah or Khutbah starts while One is Performing Sunnah salaah

Q: Salaah-161: If the salaah in Jamaa'ah or the Khutbah starts while one is performing the four Rakaahs Sunnah before Zuhr and the Jumu'ah salaah, should one complete the salaah or make Salaam after two Rakaahs?

Answer: It is permissible to either make Salaam after two Rakaahs or to complete the four Rakaahs with short Qiraa'ah. While it is best to terminate after two Rakaahs, one must complete four Rakaahs with shortened Qairaa'ah if already in the third Rakaah.
