Hearing a Sajdah verse while Performing Missed Rakaahs

Q: Salaah-205: I stood up to complete my missed Rakaah as the Imaam and the other followers sat after completing four Rakaahs of the Taraaweeh salaah. However, I was still busy performing the salaah when the Imaam started another two Rakaahs and recited a Sajdah verse in it. Do I need to perform a Sajdah for hearing the Sajdah verse?

Answer: The Sajdah will be binding on you. However, if you joined the his the same Rakaah either before or after he had made the Sajdah, his Sajdah would suffice for you and you will not have to perform it by yourself.
