Qadhas of the Taraaweeh Salaah

Q: Salaah-664: The Taraaweeh Salaah was not performed because news of the sighting of the moon arrived too late. Must the Qadhaa be performed in Jamaa'ah or individually?

Answer: The Taraaweeh Salaah should be performed during its time, which lasts up to Subh Saadiq. It may not be performed as Qadhaa afterwards, neither in Jamaa'ah nor individually. If it is performed, it will not be the Taraaweeh Salaah, but Nafl and it is Makrooh to perform Nafl salaah in Jamaa'ah when there are three persons apart from the Imaam. And Allaah knows best what is most correct.
