When the Imaam remains silent until he is Corrected

Q: Salaah-459: When our Imaam made an error in the Taraaweeh salaah, he remained silent all the while the person correcting him recited from (Fatawa Rahimiyyah vol.2 pg. 335) until the words (Fatawa Rahimiyyah vol.2 pg. 335) Will Sajdah Sahw be necessary? If it was and was not performed, will the salaah need to be repeated?

Answer: The Taraaweeh salaah will be valid and need not be repeated. Because of the necessity to do so, it will be permissible for the Imaam to remain silent for the duration of the correction. Neither will the salaah be nullified nor will Sajdah Sahw be necessary. And Allaah knows best what is most correct.
