Perform the Taraaweeh salaah in Jamaa'ah

Q: Salaah-464: We have two ladies who have memorised the entire Qur?aan. Because of the fear that they would forget the Qur'aan if they do not recite the Qur'aan in their Taraaweeh salaah, a Molvi has permitted them to perform the Taraaweeh salaah in Jamaa'ah. The women of the locality therefore join them in the Taraaweeh salaah. Does the Hanafi Madh'hab allow this? Please elaborate.

Answer: Even if the fear of forgetting the Qur'aan exists, it will still not be permssible for women to perform the Taraaweeh salaah in Jamaa'ah because it is Makrooh Tahreemi for women to perform salaah in Jamaa'ah. The authentic book of jurisprudence Nawaazil states that since the woman voice needs to be concealed, Allaama Ibn Humaam RAH. has mentioned that a woman's salaah will be rendered invalid if she recites the Qiraa'ah of salaah audibly. Majaalisul Abraar (Pg.31) also states that because a woman's voice needs to be concealed, she may not recite the Takbeer Tashreeq audibly. And Allaah knows best what is most correct.
