Reciting the Opening Verses of the Qur'aan in the Final Rakaah of the Taraaweeh salaah

Q: Salaah-445: It is customary therefor the Imaam to recite Surah Falaq in the first Rakaah of the final two Rakaahs of the Taraaweeh salaah when the Qur'aan is being completed. He then recites Surah Naas, Surah Faatiha and the opening verses of Surah Baqara (up to MUFLIHUN ) in the second Rakaah. Is there any substantiation for this practice in the Shari'ah?

Answer: It is Mustahab to recite Surah Faatiha together with Surah Falaq and Surah Naas in the 19th Rakaah and then Surah Faatiha together with a part of Surah Baqara (up to MUFLIHUN) in the 20'h Rakaah. This is substantiated by the Ahadeeth.l There is however no substantiation for the practice of some people who recite Surah Ikhlaas four times in the 20th Rakaah, followed by Surah Falaq, Surah Naas, Surah Baqara (up to MUFLIHUN) and then some du'aas. And Allaah knows best what is most correct.
