Question 2121) - A man vowed not to drink from the Tigris River. He then drank its waters from a vessel." Is his vow broken?
A: According to Imaam Abu Hanifah RAH. it is not broken unless he places his mouth in the river.*
* According to Imaam Abu Yusuf RAH. and Imaam Muhammed RAH. it is violated with or without a vessel.
