WHO ARE THE AHLUS SUNNAH WAL JAMAA'AH?

Hadhrat Ghowthe A'zam RAH. said that following the Sunnah is to follow that which Rasulullaah SAW. practised and following the Jamaa'ah is to follow that which the Sahabah RADI. were unanimous about during the periods of the four Khulafaa Raashideen. Any just person will rightfully agree that it is the Ulema of Deoband who clearly followed these paths.

The Ulema of Deoband follow the example set by Rasulullaah SAW. as commanded in the Qur'aan whereas the Ridhaa Khan devotees oppose?the Sunnah by creating baseless acts of Bid'ah and following the customs of their forebears. Their attitude is just like the deviated nation of the past about whom Allaah says, "When they are told to follow that which Allaah has revealed, they say, 'We will rather follow that which we found our forefathers doing.
On the contrary, the Ulema of Deoband oppose the deviant ways of their forefathers which were in conflict with the Sunnah. It is for this reason that the Ridha Khan devotees speak ill of the people of the truth. Hadhrat Ghowthe A'zam RAH. stated that the hallmark of the people of Bid'ah is to slander those who follow the Ahadeeth and the Sahabah RADI.

Umar Khayyaam wrote a poem. which means, "some ignorant people regard themselves as knowledgeable when they are not and in their ignorance, they label as Kuffaar those people who are not as ignorant as the are.
And Allaah knows best what is most correct.
