Suffering Calamities Even while Following the Shari' ah?

Q: Ilm-5: By the grace of Allaah. I am regular with my salaah and fasting and even stay away from the prohibitions of the Shari'ah as far as possible. However, I still suffer many difficulties in earning a living. Please prescribe something to put this to an end.

Answer: Rasulullaah SAW. mentioned that there are certain sins that are not compensated for even by salaah, fasting, Hajj and Umrah. "O Rasulullaah SAW. the Sahabah RADI. asked, "How will these sins be compensated for?" Rasulullaah SAW. replied, "By the difficulty and grief of earning a living." There is therefore no need to be worried. Continue staying away from sins and Allaah will soon alleviate the difficulties. You should also recite: HASBUN ALLH WA NIAMAL WAKIL. five hundred times daily and you will Inshaa Allaah be freed front your worries and grief And Allaah knows best what is most correct.
