Counted when the Blood Keeps Appearing and then Disappearing?

Q: Taharaat-23: A woman in Nifaas bleeds for four days and then stops Bleeding she then stars to bleed again after four days, followed by a period of no bleeding. It continued like this until she completed forty days. Will the days of no bleeding be regarded as days of purity or not?

Answer: All forty days will be regarded as Nifaas and the days in between where no bleeding took place will not be regarded as days of purity. And Allaah knows best what is most correct.
