The Minimum Period of Menses

Taharaat-68: There is a woman who menstruates every three months. Although her habit had been five days. nowadays the blood is seen for a night, after which it stops. It is stated in Behisti Zewar that the blood which appears for less than three days and nights is not Haidh. What will the bleeding of this woman be regarded as? Will it be Haidh or istihaadha the woman is 35 years age. What will be the situation with regards to her salaah and Tilaawah?

Answer: Bleeding for a duration o1 less than three days and nights is not Haidh, but Istiliaadha. And Allaah knows best what is most correct.
