Is it Sunnah to Hold the Staff while Delivering the Khutbah?

Q: Salaah-153: Is it permissible or Makrooh to hold the Asaa (staff) while delivering the Khutbah?

Answer: Holding the Asaa delivering the Khutbah is permissible and not Makroohs. However, regarding it to be compulsory and condemning those who do not hold it is Makrooh. Placing that much emphasis on a Mustahab act is certainly Makrooh.
