Making the Takbeer Tahreema while still far from the Saff for fear of missing the Rakaah

Q: Salaah-97: A person arrives in the Masjid as the Imaam is proceeding for Ruku. Now if he waits to get into the Saff before making the Takbeer Tahreema, he will miss the Ruku and, consequently, the Rakaah. Can such a person make the Takbeer Tahreema while away from the Saff?

Answer: It is Makrooh to stand alone and detached from a Saff when there is place in the Saff. A person should proceed to the Saff and start his salaah there even if it means missing the Rakaah because avoiding a Makrooh act is better than attaining a virtue.t And Allaah knows best what is most correct.
