Is Jumu'ah Valid when there is no Masjid?

Q: Salaah-159: We have no Masjid in our village but the foundation has just been laid. Although we have no Imaam, the five daily salaahs are being performed. Will it be permissible for us to perform the Jumu'ah and Eid salaahs here?

Answer: The condition for the Jumu'ah and Eid salaahs to be valid is that the area must be a town or city. The presence of a Masjid is lot a precondition. It is also not a precondition to have a place for salaah made Waqaf. The Jumu'ah salaah may therefore be performed even in a house or a rented premises on condition that any person is allowed to attend. The Jumu'ah and Eid salaahs will not be permissible there if admission is restricted.

You people should therefore get a place for salaah and keep it clean and appoint a pious person as your Imaam. Another condition for the validity of the Jumu'ah salaah is, that there should be three followers behind the Imaam. And Allaah knows best what is most correct.
