Sitting down to Complete the Salaah after mistakenly Standing

Q: Salaah-191: Instead of sitting after performing two Rakaahs of the Witr Salaah, the imaam accidentally stood up. However, when the people corrected him, he sat down. After then completing the third Rakaah, he performed Sajdah Sahw and completed the salaah. Is the salaah valid?

Answer: If he forgets the first sitting posture, the Imaam should not sit down, but continue and perform Sajdah Sahw at the end. Although it was wrong to sit down again, the salaah will still be valid and because he did perform the sajdah sahw at the end there will be no need to repeat the salaah.
