Reciting Durood before the Iqaamah

Q: Salaah-320: Is reciting Durood before the Iqaamah proven from the Ahadeeth?

Answer: One is permitted to recite Durood silently before the lqaamah. Shaami (Vol.1 Pg.283-284) states that this is Mustahab. It will however be Makrooh to always recite it loudly. And Allaah knows best what is most correct.
