Performing a Second Jamaa'ah

Q: Salaah-679: Is there any harm in performing a second Jamaa'ah in the corner of the Masjid, away from the Mihraab?

Answer: Because the practice of performing a second Jamaa'ah in the Masjid will affect the first Jamaa'ah, it has been declared to be Makrooh. If someone missed the Jamaa'ah for a good reason, Jamaa'ah can be performed at home or outside the boundaries of the Masjid. This should however not be made a habit. And Allaah knows best what is most correct.
