Reciting Ta'awwudh and Tasmiya before and after Surah Faatiha

Q: Salaah-334: Must Ta'awwudh and Tasmiya be recited after the Thanaa And before the Surah Faatiha in the first Rakaah and also before Surah Faatiha in all the other Rakaahs? Furthermore, should Ta'awwudh and Tasmiya be recited before the Surah that follows Surah Faatiha?

Answer: In the first Rakaah, it is Masnoon for the Imaam and followers to recite both the Ta'awwudh and Tasmiya after the Thanaa. In the remaining Rakaahs, only Tasmiya should be recited before Surah Faatiha. It is also best to recite the Tasmiya before the Surah following Surah Faatiha. And Allaah knows best what is most correct.
