Continuously Reciting Ta'awwudhin Salaah to Dispel evil Thuoghts

Q: Salaah-413: Our Imaam says that when evil thoughts come to one in salaah (whether during silent or audible salaahs), they can be dispelled by reciting the Ta'awwudh (A?UDHU BILLAAHI MINS SHAYTAN NIRRAJEEM)? Is this correct? Will it not cause a disturbance to the salaah?

Answer: The advice of your Imaam is incorrect. Although the Fuqahaa are not agreed upon the invalidity of such a salaah, the salaah will still be Makrooh. Reciting Innaa Lillaahi wa Innaa llayhi Raaji'oon will however nullify the salaah. And Allaah knows best what is most correct.
