Lifting the Right Foot off the Ground when Sitting up from the Sajdah

Q: Salaah-417: We have a Haafidh who sometimes leads the salaah here. However, whenever he gets up from the Sajdah to sit in Qa'dah, his right foot lifts off the ground. Is the salaah valid?

Answer: When getting up from the Sajdah to sit in Qa'dah, if the right foot lifts off the ground, the salaah will not be nullified. Such a habit is nevertheless Makrooh. And Allaah knows best what is most correct.
