Performing the Taraaweeh and Witr salaahs in Jamaa'ah when One has Performed the Isha Salaah by Himself

Q: Salaah-450: If a person has performed the Isha salaah individually, can he perform the Taraaweeh salaah and the Witr salaah in Jamaa'ah? We received a reply from Daarul Uloom Shaahe Aalam Ahmadabad stating that such a person cannot perform the Witr salaah in Jamaa'ah (Bihaare Shari'ah Vol. 4). His however conflicts with what is stated in Durrul Mukhtaar and your Fataawaa Raheemiyyah. Which opinion is the preferred one in conformance with which the fatwa is issued?

Answer: The correct opinion is that the person who performed the Isha salaah by himself can perform the Taraaweeh and Witr salaahs in Jamaa'ah. And Allaah knows best what is most correct.
