Some Du'aas Recited during the Taraaweeh salaah

Q: Salaah-456: Before the Taraaweeh salaah slarts, someone calls out:

Fatawa Rahimiyyah (vol.2 PG.333)

The Taraaweeh salaah then starts. After two Rakaahs, he again says:

Fatawa Rahimiyyah (Vol.2 pg. 333)

After four Rakaahs , they recite:

Fatawa Rahimiyyah (vol.2 pg. 333)

This is followed by:

Fatawa Rahimiyyah (vol.2 pg.333)

Then in the second Tarwiha, they say:

Fatawa Rahimiyyah (vol.2 pg.333)

In the third Tarwiha, they say:

Fatawa Rahimiyyah (vol.2 pg. 333)

In the fourth Tarwiha, they say:

Fatawa Rahimiyyah (vol.2 pg.333)

In the fifth Tarwiha, they say:

Fatawa Rahimiyyah (vol.2 pg. 333)

Another person then says:

(SUBHANL MALIKUL QUDDUS)

All this is recited in loud voices because of which other people cannot engage in any Tasbeeh. Then before the Witr salaah, someone recites:

Fatawa Rahimiyyah (vol.2 pg. 334)

Are all these du'aas substantiated by the Ahadeeth?

Answer: AII of these du'aas conflict with the Sunnah and are customary. They therefore need to be forsaken. The Tarwiha occurs after four and not two Rakaahs.
Furthermore, the Tarwiha should not be so long that it inconveniences people and there are no collective du'aas prescribed for these periods. On an individual basis, people may recite whatever Adhkaar they please and even perform salaah, recite Qur'aan or Durood. They may even remain silent if they choose to. Compelling everyone to engage in any particular act during this time curbs the freedom that the Shari'ah has allowed. The details of this issue has already passed in a previous Fatwa.
