Performing Three Rakaahs Taraaweeh

Q: Salaah-476: The Imaam of the Taraaweeh salaah did not sit after the second Rakaah of the Taraaweeh salaah and then continued to perform three Rakaahs after sitting at the end of the third Rakaah. Will two of the Rakaahs be regarded as Taraaweeh salaah? Some people say that because Nafl and Sunnah salaahs are never made up of three Rakaahs, all three Rakaahs will be null and void. Is this true?

Answer:-in the stated case, the two Rakaahs will not be regarded as Taraaweeh salaah and will have to be repeated. The Qur'aan recited in these Rakaahs will also have to be repeated. And Allaah knows best what is most correct.
