Reciting Bismillaah between Surah Faatiha an another Surah

Q: Salaah-44: Must Bismillaah be recited between Surah Faatiha and another Surah?

Answer: Yes, Bismillaah should be recited silently. Shaami (Vol.1 Pg.458) states that it is best to recite Bismillaah between Surah Faatiha and a Surah regardless of whether the two were recited silently or audibly. And Allaah knows best what is most correct.
